Sewing Machine Operator

Employment Duration:

Permanent, full-time.

Working Language:

French

Main Function:

Assemble sections and pieces of leather gloves following established procedures.

Requirements:

DEP in sewing or a minimum of experience on an industrial machine.
Work with a sewing machine (straight stitch and serger) with one or more needles.
Be able to sew leather and fabric.
Have the ability to thread the machines and replace needles.
Perform normal maintenance (cleaning, oiling) of the machine.
Training is provided by the employer.

Required Skills:

Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.
Attention to detail.
Precision, meticulousness, and speed in executing work.
Patience and concentration.
Punctuality and ease of working in a team.

Very pleasant working environment in Saint-Raymond de Portneuf, 30 minutes from Quebec City.

4-day work week.

General Helper

Employment Duration:

Main Function:

Assist in the glove production line. Various tasks such as: cutting, turning, inserting lining, pressing, packing.

Requirements:

Ability to stand all day.
Experience with a sewing machine (straight stitch and serger) with one or more needles, an asset.
Training is provided by the employer.

Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.
Good physical ability.
Attention to detail.
Precision, meticulousness, and speed in executing work.
Patience and concentration.
Punctuality and ease of working in a team.

Very pleasant working environment in Saint-Raymond de Portneuf, 30 minutes from Quebec City.

4-day work week, 1 month of summer vacation.
